Viking Medieval Jewelry
The old Viking beliefs are often found today under the name Asatru or Odinism. Another branch of Neo-Paganism is Vanatru, which focuses on a different pantheon of gods, as does Rökkatru. What they have in common is Norse mythology, and corresponding medieval jewelry often features symbols such as the Midgard Serpent, the Fenris Wolf, and symbols of Odin, such as Odin's Horn or Wotan's Knot, and Thor, such as Thor's Hammer. These motifs appear in two types of medieval jewelry: either closely modeled on the originals in terms of design, craftsmanship, and jewelry styles, or translated into modern times. Instead of brooches and garment pins, these medieval jewelry symbols can now be found on ear plugs, flesh tunnels, ear weights, surfer necklaces, and more.
Celtic Medieval Jewelry
Celtic medieval jewelry features a variety of symbols and motifs, though Viking symbols are also relevant. These include the typical Celtic knot and symbols representing the Trinity, as the number three is very important in Celtic mythology. Triple deities are common, and the number three also represents the stages of existence: birth, life, and death, or the three elements: earth, sky, and water. The triskele is a typical symbol for the Trinity and is often depicted on medieval jewelry. Another Celtic symbol, also found among the Vikings, is the world tree, Yggdrasil. As the Tree of Life, this medieval jewelry motif has even made its way into today's esoteric jewelry trends. 
Also at the Nordic and Medieval Jewelry Popular symbols include runes, circles, pentagrams, the fleur-de-lis symbol, and the Viking compass Vergvisir.
Connection to nature and nature motifs
Celtic and medieval jewelry is also characterized by specific natural motifs and special techniques. For example, beautiful patterns can be achieved on silver jewelry by hammering circles or dents.
