Spiral/expander horn jewelry is hand-carved from buffalo horn. Its ability to maintain a consistent temperature makes these piercings very comfortable. Whether painted, solid-colored, shiny, or with a turquoise stone inlay, you'll find many different variations in a wide range of sizes. From the artfully carved Thai spiral to the expander in the shape of a viper snake, we offer something for everyone. We use only buffalo horn for our spiral/expander piercings, horn that farmers cannot otherwise use and therefore sell for jewelry. The farmers utilize the entire animal and only kill it when absolutely necessary. No buffalo has to die for our jewelry; this is important to us.
You can start small with our expanders, around 2 mm, and gradually stretch your ear to about 12 mm. If you want to go even larger, you can use horn plugs , which can reach up to about 5 cm. It's important not to skip any sizes when stretching, but to always increase the size slowly, step by step. Otherwise, the tissue can tear or develop unsightly wrinkles.
