The Tribal Buffalo Horn Piercing is a black spiral with a turquoise wave pattern, hand-carved from buffalo horn. The wave inlay on the back of the horn stretching spiral is made of crushed turquoise, creating a beautiful contrast between the matte turquoise stone and the glossy black horn of the stretching spiral. Because it is made of genuine stone and horn and is handcrafted, slight variations in size, shape, color, and grain may occur, as natural products are never exactly identical, making each expander unique. Horn, being an organic material, allows the skin to breathe, preventing unpleasant odors. It is also very smooth and lightweight, adapting to body temperature, making it very comfortable to wear. The stretching spiral is carefully inserted through the stretched earlobe at the tip. We offer the lobe piercing in sizes 4mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm. The sizes shown online are the ones currently available. One more note about the horn: we buy it from Southeast Asian farmers where it is an unusable byproduct of their livestock - no animal is killed specifically for jewelry.
