The Buffalo Horn Hook Piercing is hand-carved, and since it's made of genuine horn, it's usually black, though the color can vary slightly towards a lighter shade. The shape features a hook with a design of four parallel arcs. The top arc is a small prong, while the arcs become progressively larger towards the bottom. The three lower arcs end in a fishtail shape, and the bottommost arc also has a fishtail shape in the center. The other side of the hook is also decorated with small prongs. The stretcher measures 4mm at the top of the hook, making it suitable for ear piercings stretched to 4mm. The hook is threaded through its pointed end and then hooked into the earlobe. Organic materials like horn allow the skin to breathe, preventing odors from developing. The stretcher is also lightweight and maintains a comfortable temperature. Water contact is not a problem, but it's advisable to remove the stretchers before exercising or sleeping, as they are delicately carved and can break.
