Ear weights for larger, stretched ears

Do you have stretched earlobes and wear plugs or flesh tunnels in large sizes like 18mm, 20mm, 22mm, 24mm, 25mm, 26mm, 28mm, or 30mm? Or are you even one of the few who wear 35mm, 40mm, 45mm, or 50mm expanders and stretchers? Then, in addition to regular ear plugs and ear tunnels, as well as stretching spirals and hooks, we now offer something completely new: Ear Weights.

But be warned, ear weights are even more noticeable and harder than regular plugs or tunnels. While these also show the size of your ear piercings, ear weights present them in a completely new way. The weights are hooked into the earlobe, either via a hook or a type of saddle plug. Their own weight pulls the lower edge of your ear piercings downwards, stretching the entire piercing and making it more visible – unlike tunnels and plugs, they don't completely fill or line the piercing, but rather pull it downwards. This makes your earlobes appear even longer and the stretching effect even more dramatic. Moreover, ear weights actually do have weight, and they come in a range of strengths from light to heavy – depending on the desired effect and personal preference. For those who want to amaze others with their piercings, ear weights offer many possibilities: the significant stretching and thus lengthening of the ears, the weight itself dangling from the ears, and of course, the size and unique design. Ear Weights .

Ear weights are indeed very diverse in terms of material and design. You can find them made of stainless steel, brass, gunmetal, silver, wood, horn, bone, mother-of-pearl, shell, real stones, and many other materials. The designs range from simple (geometric shapes) and bold (skull, dragon, Viking), to natural (stones like opal, turquoise, tiger's eye, lapis lazuli, onyx, paua, abalone, mother-of-pearl, shell, wood in brown, reddish-brown, olive wood, etc., bone, octopus motifs), tribal (elephant, skull with Native American headdress or Viking helmet, Mayan figure, claw), Far Eastern and esoteric (Buddha, waving cat, Ganesha and variations thereof, Flower of Life, Tree of Life), but also playfully feminine ear weights like angel wings, ornaments, or iridescent stones and shells.

Many ear weights are attached using a hook, which is either part of the design (e.g., an octopus arm, the back toe of a claw) or attractively integrated into the design. The ear weight is simply hooked into the earlobe using this hook. Another option is to attach the ear weights to ear tunnels using the hooks, so your ear is doubly decorated: the tunnel on top and a beautiful ear weight dangling below. This second option is also available with a chain and lobster clasp.

Other common closures and fastening options for ear weights include clicker systems, as well as spiral shapes that often feature a large, round motif inside. Other motifs are shaped like stretching spirals, such as snakes, ornaments, or spikes, and are inserted through the earlobe. Another style is ear weights that dangle from a saddle plug. This half-plug is inserted into the earlobe, slightly widening it, while the motif dangles from the bottom. A special type of ear weight that is very popular is the ear donut. This style features a ring with a narrow slit. The slit allows for the insertion of the mega hoop earring. These donut ear weights are like very thick earrings and are usually made of wood with a distinctive grain. They are often decorated with a beautiful engraving.

You've now got a hankering for something new, but your ear piercings are 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, or 16mm? No problem at all, because we offer ear weights for those sizes too. The smallest sizes are usually designed as ear spirals. These can be gold or silver colored and are often decorated with a beautiful stone, frequently a sparkling one.

One more note about ear weights: if you're sensitive and prefer comfort to shock, we also offer small and medium-weight ear weights – and these will still turn heads. Wearing them should be comfortable for you, so choose the size and weight accordingly. And please remember: ear weights are not ear stretchers. You stretch your earlobes with tapers or spirals; this ensures even stretching without injury. Ear weights would stretch unevenly, so please use them only as jewelry and not as a stretching tool.
