The glossy acrylic screw plug features a slightly convex, shiny front. The black back is flat, and the sides of the fire ring plug, also black, are flat with raised edges at the top and bottom when viewed from the side. The back is removable, making the black, blue, and yellow plug easy to insert. The design on the front of the plug depicts Earth in dark blue, white, green, and brown. This is surrounded by a white, yellow, and orange ring of fire from which small explosions emanate, creating the illusion that Earth is directly in front of the sun.
