This jewelry set consists of a necklace and earrings: The necklace measures approximately 45 cm, but can be adjusted by about 6 cm, as it fastens with a lobster clasp and has a silver-colored brass extension chain. The round coins of the earrings measure approximately 2 cm and depict Queen Elizabeth II's visit to Australia in 1981. They are lightly oxidized, some with a dark patina. The matching necklace consists of a large, ornate brass arch to which small leaves are attached. This arch hangs from a silver chain on both sides. At three points—in the center, to the left, and to the right—large, oval, faceted black glass crystals dangle among the leaves. The central crystal is the largest. Beneath each of these crystals are seven drops, each bearing a round coin and, in some cases, long leaves made up of many small spirals. These coins, featuring heads with laurel wreaths, bear the inscription "République Français."
