The plug is hand-carved from brown, grained teak wood. Its top and bottom curve slightly outwards, while the sides curve inwards; this is called double flare and ensures a secure fit in the piercing channel. A Tree of Life is carved into the front of the plug, intricately designed with branching limbs and roots. Due to the natural material, grain and color may vary slightly from the photo. Please also allow for a minimal difference in size, as each teak plug is handmade and unique. The wood is lightweight, the plug is smoothly sanded, and it adapts to body temperature, allowing your skin to breathe and preventing unpleasant odors. Please protect wooden jewelry from water while showering, bathing, or swimming; instead, use jojoba oil for care. The Tree of Life, also known as Yggdrasil, is suitable for both men and women.
