This wooden plug is handcrafted from dark brown sonowood with a natural brown striped grain. The plug is slightly convex at the front and back, while the sides curve inwards; this shape is called double flared. The front of the plug features an inlay of crushed red stone depicting a motif: a triquetra symbol composed of three interconnected almond shapes, whose arcs partially extend outwards to form a triskele—three spirals radiating outwards from a central point in three different directions. Due to the natural material, color and grain may vary slightly from the photo. A size variation of up to 1 mm should also be expected, as these triquetra plugs are hand-carved.
