This pentagram captive bead ring piercing replaces the typical small ball with an antique gold-tone version of a five-pointed star, which can be drawn with a line. The ring is made of 316L stainless steel and is silver-colored, measuring approximately 1.6 mm, 1.2 mm, or 1 mm in thickness, depending on the variant. The gold-tone brass pentagram simply clips into the ring's opening for insertion and can be removed to take out the piercing. The spaces between the pentagram symbols are cut out, forming a circle containing the five-pointed star. This star piercing is universally wearable on the body, whether as a septum, nipple, intimate, tragus, helix, or other placement—it's a matter of personal preference. Surgical steel is sterilizable and very smooth, meaning wound secretions won't stick to it, making the pentagram piercing perfect for everyday wear and hypoallergenic. The meaning of the pentagram varies depending on whether the point is worn facing up or down.
