This oval olive wood expander with a natural grain in light, grained brown is hand-carved. Its shape is a large oval ring, interrupted only at the bottom center by a slit. The ring is threaded through the ear piercing, which should already be stretched to at least 12mm, at this point and is secured with a round captive bead made of the same light olive wood. We offer this light brown grained captive bead ring, or ball closure ring, in 12mm. Weighing approximately 10.6g, it will stay in place even in slightly larger stretched ears. The oval wooden expander is handcrafted from genuine olive wood, so slight variations in color, grain, shape, or diameter may occur, as each wooden expander is unique! We sell these light-colored captive bead piercings individually, as many customers wear them alone or in pairs – they will darken slightly over time. Please always remove organic wood piercings before showering, bathing, and using a sauna. Jojoba oil is suitable for the care of olive wood. The wood allows your skin to breathe when worn, is lightweight and adapts to your temperature, and is also smoothly sanded. The inner sides of the ellipse are rounded, the outer edge is straight, forming two edges on the sides.
