This gold-colored, partially dark-oxidized, inverted teardrop-shaped expander features a straight slit at the bottom that transitions into a small circle, creating a keyhole-like opening. The spiral piercing is inserted through this opening, which is 12mm wide. Therefore, you can only use this expander once your earlobe has reached a minimum stretch of 12mm. Even with a slightly larger piercing, the expander will still stay in place due to its weight of approximately 33g, as the portion that passes through the earlobe is narrower than 12mm.
