The piercing is inserted through this opening, which is 12mm wide. Therefore, you can only use this expander once your earlobe has reached a stretch of at least 12mm. With a slightly larger earlobe, the expander will stay in place due to its weight of approximately 35g, as the portion that passes through the earlobe is narrower than 12mm. The ear expander is crafted from high-quality brass, partially dark-oxidized for a contrasting pattern. Due to the handcrafted nature of the product, slight variations in shape and weight may occur.
