The nostril piercing is made of antique gold-plated brass. A small opening in the round nostril ring allows the nose rings to be inserted through the piercing hole; the bar thickness is approximately 0.8 mm. The nose stud also measures approximately 0.8 mm at the post and is inserted through the piercing hole. The rounded end ensures a secure fit.
The brass nose ring/stud comes in three variations: two versions feature a motif in the center of a row of beads: a genuine stone, a white opal surrounded by small beads, or an Om symbol. The third version is a stud in the shape of a flower with a white glass crystal in the center.
