These antique gold stud earrings are made of brass and feature various designs. Some are partially oxidized to a dark patina. The earrings are sold in pairs. Each earring consists of three parts: the backs, the earring posts themselves (to which the posts are attached), and a long, curved, thin point between the back and post. This point is removable, allowing for several variations: it can be worn in front of the ear, behind the ear as an ear jacket, or removed entirely, leaving the earrings as simple spirals or flowers without the point.
