The parasite wood stretching spiral is designed as jewelry for already stretched ear piercings and is available in 4mm, 6mm, and 8mm sizes. The name "parasite wood" describes the unique appearance of this wood: its natural grain displays many fine lines and a very distinctive two-tone pattern. Since nature is never exactly the same, each piercing is unique; no two pieces of wood have the same grain pattern. Furthermore, each spiral is handcrafted, hand-carved, and therefore the shape and size may vary slightly from the photo or specifications. Wood is less suitable for unhealed ears but is perfect as long as there is no open wound, as it adapts to body temperature, is lightweight, and allows the skin to breathe, preventing unpleasant odors. With a 4mm diameter, the spiral measures approximately 25mm in diameter.
