This hinged segment ring with small dots and rope embellishments is universally suitable for the nose, lip, ear, and other appropriate body parts. It can be used as a nostril or septum piercing and is ideal as a vintage-style ring for all ear and lip piercing locations, as well as other body parts where small rings are worn. The underside of the segment ring is decorated with a row of beads that increase in size towards the center. Above these beads is a row of dots with a large bead in the center. The underside itself is crescent-shaped, meaning it is thicker in the middle at the bottom. At the transition to the narrow top, there are rope-like embellishments on both sides. A clicker closure is located at the top; it can be clicked open and closed, but is not visible when closed as it is part of the ring. The vintage-style ring is made of 316L surgical steel in silver, and the gold and rose gold versions are made of stainless steel with gold or rose gold PVD plating, respectively. PVD is a coating with a very hard, resistant metal compound and a thin layer of gold, which protects the vintage-style ring from saltwater, sweat, and corrosion. It also prevents the gold color from fading or becoming dull. The pure stainless steel of the silver piercing ring version is also strong and robust. This makes the vintage piercings durable, high-quality segment rings.
