The tunnel is slightly convex at the top and bottom, while the sides curve gently inwards. A thin, dark brown rim surrounds the turquoise inlay on the front. The tunnel's wide rim is double-flared for a secure fit. It is handcrafted to a high standard and is smooth with no sharp edges. The wood is lightweight and adapts to body temperature. Because wood allows the skin to breathe, it prevents unpleasant odors.
