This crescent-shaped brass ball closure ring in antique gold is handcrafted. Its shape resembles a ring interrupted only by a single slit. This slit is threaded through the already stretched ear piercing and secured with a round rubber captive bead. The rubber bead has two small indentations into which the brass ends are inserted, making insertion and removal very easy, yet ensuring a secure fit. The captive bead ring is thicker at one end but tapers towards the rubber bead and features an engraved, dark oxidized grid pattern. We offer the captive bead ring in various sizes, including 2mm, 4mm, 6mm, 8mm, and 10mm. The wooden piercing is handcrafted from brass, so slight variations in shape or diameter may occur, as each grid expander is unique!
