This hand-carved crescent moon earring, crafted from reddish-brown sawwood, depicts a crescent moon with a face. The moon is carved in three dimensions. The wooden moon face piercing resembles a stretching spiral, but it's inserted like a stud earring: the spiral has a stainless steel post that is pushed through the earlobe, just like a stud. The closure is a push-fit mechanism, lined with silicone for durability and a secure fit. When worn, the stainless steel post is invisible, and the crescent moon earring looks like a genuine lobe piercing.
