Our faux wooden piercings are hand-carved from dark brown, grained wood and feature intricately designed motifs. Most consist of various spirals, for example, in the shape of a wing, fishtail, or with a serrated edge. One motif also depicts a swallow. While it appears almost black in the photo, it is actually brown. The wooden motifs are attached to a hook made of shiny gold brass, which becomes thicker where it meets the wood. The brass hook allows the piercing to be hung like an earring in an unstretched, standard earlobe. We sell the earrings individually, so if you are looking for a pair, please order two. As these are genuine wood and handmade, slight variations from the photo and description are possible.
