This expander is hand-carved from ebony wood, and the dark brown wood naturally has a light brown grain. It's shaped like a stretching spiral, and we offer the spirals in 8mm and 10mm sizes. These ear piercings are only suitable for stretched earlobes. To use them, insert the narrow tip through the earlobe and then push the thicker spiral through to the middle. The dark wood expander is handcrafted from genuine ebony, so there may be slight variations in color, grain, or diameter, as each wooden expander is a unique, handcrafted piece! We sell the ebony stretching spirals individually. If you need a pair, please order two. Organic wooden spirals and tapers should not be worn while showering, bathing, or in the sauna. Jojoba oil is a good alternative for caring for the wood.
