The tribal piercing is intricately hand-carved from white buffalo bone. This bone expander is available in 2mm, 3mm, and 4mm diameters, features a unique hook shape, and is worn as a dangle earring. The bone stretcher is made from organic bone and, as a natural product, never looks exactly the same. Because the spiral is hand-carved, the dimensions of the piercing may vary by +/- 1mm from the stated size. Minimal variations in size and color are normal for organic piercings. The organic material allows the skin in the piercing channel to breathe, preventing odor buildup in bone lobe piercings. Do not wear the spiral piercings overnight, as the risk of breakage is higher with such delicately carved expanders. The design is reminiscent of a palm frond, fern, or an ornament/flames. The flames form one end of an arc, while the other end is the point that is inserted through the stretched earlobe.
