This versatile piercing goes by various names: captive bead or captive bead ring, with the ring featuring a diagonal point at the bottom. The piercing itself is essentially pierced at this point, featuring three holes through which three small captive bead rings pass. Once the larger bead is inserted, the piercing is closed. The bead can be pushed out and, for insertion, it snaps into place between the two curved ends. Depending on whether you have a standard piercing or one that's already stretched, we offer the captive bead piercing in various diameters. The length of the piercing itself also varies depending on the diameter of the barbell.
