The wooden plug is made of reddish-brown sawwood, into which a pattern has been darkly engraved on one side. The shape of the flesh plug is curved inwards at the sides, creating a double-flared effect, while the front and back curve slightly outwards. As it is handmade from natural material, slight variations in size, grain, and color may occur, making each organic piercing ear plug unique. The motif is an anchor with a round eyelet, surrounded by a rope ring as a rim; it is clearly visible through the dark engraving in the reddish-brown wood. Wood allows the skin to breathe, preventing odor buildup. Sawwood also retains body temperature and is lightweight, offering a high level of comfort.
