The Tribal Snake Hook Piercing is intricately hand-carved from iridescent mother-of-pearl shell. This expander is available in a 4 mm diameter and features a unique, coiled snake shape. It is designed to be worn as an earring dangle. The shell stretcher is carved from organic mother-of-pearl, and as a natural product, each piece is unique, shimmering in white, yellow, brown, and gray with hints of red. Because the hook is hand-carved, the dimensions of the piercing may vary by +/- 1 mm from the stated size. These variations in size and color are normal for organic piercings. The images show possible shades of the snake. The shape is a hook resembling a snake coiling multiple times, with the tail forming the tip and the head the beginning of the hook. The organic material allows the skin on the ear to breathe, preventing unpleasant odors from developing while wearing the piercing. Water contact is not a problem for shell piercings, however, snake piercings should not be worn overnight, as the risk of breakage is higher with shell piercings.
