The Tribal Mother-of-Pearl Hook Piercing is intricately hand-carved and delicately crafted from mother-of-pearl shell. This expander is available in a 2 mm diameter, features a distinctive tribal hook shape, and is worn as an earring dangle. The stretching hook is hand-carved from organic mother-of-pearl, and therefore no two pieces are exactly alike, shimmering in white, red, green, yellow, brown, and even gray. Because the piercing is hand-carved, the dimensions may vary by +/- 1 mm from the stated size. These slight variations in size and color are normal for organic natural products. You can see the different color variations in the images. The shape is a highly intricate, elaborately carved, elongated ornament. The natural material allows the skin to breathe, preventing unpleasant odors. Water contact is not a problem; however, the piercings should not be worn overnight, as the shell is delicate (risk of breakage).
