Panto sunglasses are the trend of the 1920s; back then, this shape of glasses was the trademark of intellectuals. Panto sunglasses have round or almost round lenses. The typical panto shape is oval at the top and rounded at the bottom. Panto glasses are slightly flattened at the top, their frame protrudes slightly at the sides, and the bridge is particularly typical. The panto bridge, together with the frame in the middle, forms a kind of keyhole shape, with the bridge curving straight forward and the frame of the lenses forming a small point towards the nose. But don't worry, the bridge is rounded, so panto sunglasses are still comfortable. This keyhole bridge gives them their characteristic feature. In the 50s and 60s, this shape of glasses was very popular with men, and in more recent times it has become popular thanks to Woody Allen, for example. And today, retro and vintage glasses are totally on trend - for both men and women. |--|
