This fake piercing, depending on the version, is made of dark or light tamarind wood, or dark brown grained sonowood, and is shaped like a plug. The fake plug can be inserted like an earring stud and looks like a real plug on the ear. The front features a different design depending on the version, as each version has a different inlay, such as crushed turquoise, mother-of-pearl, abalone, or wood in a different color and with an engraving.
