These threadless piercing ends consist of a very fine silver titanium post and a wooden ball or cone motif, either reddish-brown from sawwood or black from arangwood. Threadless means the post end, without the ball/cone, is completely straight and is inserted into a threadless stud. Since the posts are only 25g, compatible studs can be as small as 20g (0.8mm), and slightly larger ones will also work. This stud must be purchased separately, but a stud is sufficient, as the attachments (the posts), such as the one with the ball motif, can then be changed. This is called a push-in piercing and can be used for ear, lip, or nose piercings, depending on the stud's design. The motifs of these organic ends are grooved cones or balls decorated with stripes, circles, or points with dots.
