The end of the stud is screw-shaped, resembling a U, with a small bend to ensure a secure fit. This bend is carefully threaded through the nose piercing. The post measures approximately 0.8mm in diameter and is about 7mm long. The heart itself measures 4mm. Each stud weighs approximately 9g.
