This wide, glittery segment ring with a hinged closure can be used universally for the nose, lip, ear, and other suitable body parts. On the nose, it serves as a nostril or septum piercing and is suitable as a universal piercing for all ear, body, and lip piercing locations where wide rings can be worn. The segment ring is adorned at the front with numerous small, sparkling stones—white, faceted glass crystals—followed by a row of dots. The clicker closure is located at the top and can be clicked open and closed. When closed, it is barely noticeable as it blends seamlessly into the ring. The clicker area (the part worn) of the ring is made of surgical steel in silver, while the gold and rose gold versions are made of stainless steel with a gold PVD or rose gold PVD coating, respectively. The rest of the ring is made of rhodium-plated brass with a PVD coating in the gold and rose gold versions. PVD coating is an extremely hard, durable metal compound with a thin layer of gold or rose gold, protecting the wide glitter ring from saltwater, sweat, and corrosion. It also prevents the gold and rose gold color from fading or becoming dull. The pure rhodium-plated brass of the silver dotted-edge ring variant is equally stable and robust. This makes the 14mm wide glitter crystal piercings durable, high-quality segment rings.
