This reddish-brown plug has a fine grain typical of Saba wood. Furthermore, each ear plug is handcrafted and made entirely from natural materials, including wood, mother-of-pearl, and Paua abalone mother-of-pearl. This makes each plug unique, as the grain and color can vary slightly with each shell and piece of wood, and the sizes may differ minimally.
The Sabaholz plug is hand-carved and comfortable to wear thanks to its smooth surface. On the front of this particular plug is a square, iridescent paua shell in shades of green and blue. This shell is framed by a shimmering white mother-of-pearl border adorned with small ornaments. The front and back of the plug are very slightly curved outwards, while the sides curve slightly inwards, creating a double-flared shape that sits comfortably in the piercing channel.
