This carved olive wood expander is handcrafted from naturally grained, light brown wood and is shaped like a triangular handbag, with a rounded top and a triangular pouch at the bottom. The piercing is a stretching spiral, more precisely a hoop shape, essentially a creole, but designed as an expander for ears stretched to at least 6mm. The lobe piercing has a slit on the side at the top; the wooden expander is threaded through the stretched earlobe and then hooked in place like an earring. This hooking mechanism ensures the hoop stays in place even with ears stretched larger than 6mm. The wooden expander is handcrafted from real wood, so variations in color and grain are possible, and the size may also vary slightly, as each piercing is handmade and nature is never identical! We sell the 48mm long triangular piercing hooks individually, as many customers wear them alone or in pairs. Please do not wear organic wooden stretching rods, spirals, and tapers while showering, bathing, or in the sauna; protect them well from water. The handbag shape features an edge on both sides that runs all the way around the rim.
