This Sawo wood expander, with its natural reddish-brown grain and mandala pattern, is hand-carved. Its shape is a large, round ring interrupted only by a small slit. This slit is threaded through the already stretched earlobe and secured with a round captive bead made of the same reddish-brown wood. We offer this mandala captive bead ring, or ball closure ring, in various sizes such as 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, and 16mm. The wooden expander is handcrafted from genuine Sawo wood, so slight variations in color, grain, shape, engraving, or diameter may occur, as each wooden expander is unique! We sell these brown captive bead piercings individually, as many customers wear them singly or in pairs. Our captive bead rings feature a dark, engraved motif: a mandala flower.
