This hand-carved olive wood expander features a natural grain in a light, grained brown. Its shape is a large, round ring interrupted only by a small opening. This opening is threaded through the already stretched earlobe and secured with a round captive bead made of the same light wood. We offer this light brown, grained captive bead ring, or ball closure ring, in various sizes such as 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, and 16mm. The wooden expander is handcrafted from genuine olive wood, so slight variations in color, grain, shape, or diameter may occur, as each expander is unique! We sell these light-colored captive bead piercings individually, as many customers wear them singly or in pairs. They will darken slightly over time. If you need a pair, please order two. Please remove organic wood piercings before showering, bathing, and using the sauna. Jojoba oil is very well suited for the care of olive wood. The wood allows your skin to breathe when worn, is lightweight, and adapts to your temperature; it darkens over time.
