This 14-karat gold-plated short necklace (42cm) features a lobster clasp and a 3.5cm extension chain. A delicate pendant adorns the front, and the fine chain itself has a diameter of approximately 1mm. The necklace is gold-filled, meaning a layer of 14-karat gold is permanently bonded to a metal core (yellow copper or, in this case, brass). The gold layer surrounding the metal core is approximately 50 to 100 times thicker than in traditional gold plating, with a gold content of 5%. Gold-filled jewelry is durable, long-lasting, and more affordable than solid gold jewelry, yet visually almost indistinguishable from genuine gold. Three variations feature a faceted Swarovski crystal drop.

Recommendation: Please avoid contact between gold-filled jewelry and creams, perfumes, water (bathing, showering), etc. While our customers' experience has shown that the jewelry can withstand these conditions, we still advise against it.
