This black Viking shirt is made of 100% cotton and is ideal for summer and spring. The white print is clearly visible, firstly due to the black and white contrast and secondly due to the line thickness. The motif is the Vegvisir, the Viking compass, surrounded by two rings with various runes arranged in the center. This runic wreath or border encircles what is now known as the Viking compass. Vegvisir is the Icelandic word for signpost, and Iceland, or rather its magical tradition, is the origin of the Vegvisir – this symbol was believed to offer protection from storms and wind on all journeys. However, there is also a neopagan interpretation of the symbol: eight directions are depicted around a center. Together with the center, the eight rays are said to represent the nine worlds of Norse mythology. The black cotton shirt is washable at 40°C and should be washed inside out.
