All stretching spirals are fake piercings; they are inserted into the ear like regular earrings using a 1mm stainless steel post and fit normal, unstretched ear piercings. On the ear, they look like a stretching spiral with a 6mm or 8mm diameter and a long end. The stainless steel hook is secured with a screw/ball closure or a push-on closure with a silicone lining. Both options are sturdy and durable.
