The tribal wood plug is hand-carved from ironwood and is therefore black. The ironwood's characteristic dot pattern is clearly visible on the top and bottom. The front and back are concave, while the sides are straight, featuring a small rim on both the top and bottom. This straight shape with a rim is called a ribbed plug and provides a secure fit. Wood should be protected from water contact, but it offers many advantages: it retains body temperature, is very lightweight, and allows the skin to breathe. This nearly black plug is suitable for both men and women. Because it is genuine ironwood and handcrafted, the color, grain, shape, and size may vary slightly from the photo or description, as each plug is unique. The color may be dark brown in some areas. We sell all lobe piercings individually, including flesh plugs and tunnels; therefore, please order two for a pair.
