This piercing goes by several names: captive bead or ball closure ring, both referring to a ring with a captive bead. Once the ball is inserted, this piercing becomes a closed ring. The ball can be pushed out and, when reinserted, it snaps into place between the two ends of the bead. Depending on whether you have a standard piercing or one that's already stretched, we offer the captive bead ring in various diameters. The outer diameter of the ring itself varies depending on the diameter of the barbell.
