This oval, dark brown Narra wood expander with a natural grain is hand-carved. Its shape is a large oval ring, interrupted only at the bottom center by a slit. The ring is threaded through the ear piercing, which should already be stretched to at least 12mm, at this point and is secured with a round captive bead made of the same wood. We offer this dark-grained captive bead ring, or ball closure ring, in 12mm. Weighing approximately 10.6g, it also stays securely in slightly larger stretched ears. The oval wooden expander is handcrafted from genuine Narra wood, so slight variations in color, grain, shape, or diameter may occur, as each wooden expander is unique! We sell the dark brown captive bead piercings individually, as many customers wear them singly or in pairs. Please always remove organic wooden expanders before showering, bathing, and using a sauna. The inner edges of the ellipse are rounded, while the outer edge is straight, creating two lateral edges. This stretching spiral is more noticeable than a plug at a 12mm stretch.
